These 75-minute experiences blend hands-on Reiki for each person, restorative breathwork, movement, meditation, and the healing presence of the ocean.
You’ll be guided gently and intentionally, so you can drop into your body, let go of the heaviness, and receive the kind of nourishment you didn’t know you needed.
Each session is intuitively led, designed to bring your body back into its own rhythm and open space for deep rest and reconnection.
Reiki & Restore experiences take place directly on the beach at Assateague in Maryland, north of the day use boardwalk and bathroom area, near the youth group campsites. You’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of the ocean, with wild ponies nearby and the waves as your soundtrack. Give yourself this mini-retreat for your soul.

These group sessions are offered throughout the summer, with flexible dates based on your availability.
Rather than choosing the dates and hoping you can make it, I’m building an interest list to co-create the perfect timing based on your availability.

1. What exactly happens during a session?
Each 75-minute session includes gentle guided movement, restorative breathing practices, and meditation, followed by individual Reiki healing in a relaxing beach setting. You’ll be invited to rest deeply, turn your attention inward, and receive—without pressure to “do” anything. No expectations. No right or wrong. Just breathe.
2. Do I need to have experience with Reiki, meditation, or yoga?
Not at all. These sessions are beginner-friendly and fully guided. Whether you’ve done this before or it’s your first time, you’ll be supported with care and ease. All you have to do is be present and open to receive whatever your body and nervous system are ready for
3. What should I bring or wear?
Dress comfortably and in layers—beach weather can shift. You’ll receive a reminder email with what to bring after confirming your session, but here’s a quick list to help you prepare: What to bring: - A beach towel or blanket - Sunscreen + sunglasses - A journal and pen - Water - $5 cash for the toll booth (if after hours); during hours you can pay with a credit card, free entry if you have an MPS or Golden Age pass Feel free to bring anything else that helps you feel grounded, such as a light blanket or eye mask.
4. Where exactly do these sessions take place?
Sessions are held on the beach at Assateague State Park Youth Group Campsites in Berlin, MD 21804—just west of Ocean City, MD. They take place directly on the beach, north of the main boardwalk, near the youth group campsite area. Arrival: Pay $5 toll (cash or credit card during hours, cash only after hours). Park in the State Park day lot, closest to the toll booth and walk on the path next to the toll booth toward the youth camp, walk over the dune, and turn left to get to the designated location on the beach. Bathrooms are on the boardwalk area, in the building at the center of the parking lot, so you may want to use the restroom before walking to the designated spot. After booking, you’ll receive more specific directions and Kim’s contact information to make your arrival smooth and stress-free. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the designated spot. There is not good cell service on the beach, so please arrive early to allow time to find your way.
5. What is your cancellation or refund policy?
There are no refunds for beach sessions. However, if you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend. Just send me their name and contact info in advance so I can make sure they’re all set to join. The exception is weather-related cancellations, which are handled separately.
6. What if it rains or the weather is bad?
If a session needs to be rescheduled due to weather, you’ll be notified in advance and offered alternative dates or a refund if needed.
7. Can I come alone or do I need to bring a friend?
Come solo or bring a friend—it’s totally up to you. This is a welcoming space whether you arrive on your own or with others. Group size is intentionally kept less than 10 people, so everyone feels seen and held. If you prefer a private session, we can make that arrangement.
8. Is this open to locals and visitors alike? What about children?
Yes! These sessions are designed for both locals looking to ground in the season and summer visitors who want an experience that stays with them long after the drive home. Children over 16 are welcome to attend. A parent will need to sign the waiver on their behalf. We can arrange a private session if you'd like to include children younger than 16.
9. What if I want to go deeper after this session and experience something more personalized?

10. How do I book the session?
If dates are scheduled, a link will be provided on this page or you can send in your interest form. Once Kim receives the interest forms, she will share the dates/time options with you along with the booking links. The cost is $40 per person (+ $5 for the toll, paid directly at the toll booth). You can pay the toll with a credit or debit card or cash. If you need another payment option for the session, you can email Kim to determine if it’s possible. A waiver must be signed to attend the session. You only need to complete the waiver once, so if you've completed a waiver for a group class in the past, you do not need to complete it again.
